"Sanjaya said: O King, after seeing the Pandava army arrayed in battle formation, King Duryodhana approached his teacher Drona and spoke these words."
Long ago, there was a great war about to start on the holy battlefield of Kurukshetra. Sanjaya, who could see everything that happened far away, told King Dhritarashtra what was happening. He saw that Prince Duryodhana, who was leading the Kauravas, looked at the army of their cousins, the Pandavas. He saw that their army was arranged in a strong and organized way.
Duryodhana, feeling confident but also a little worried, went to his teacher, Dronacharya, who was a great teacher and warrior. Duryodhana wanted to plan their strategy well for the battle. He respectfully approached Dronacharya and spoke to him about their plans and preparations.
This verse shows how the leaders were getting ready for the big battle and how they were seeking advice from their wise teachers to make their plans.
