Chapter1 Verse11

 “अयनेषु च सर्वेषु यथाभागमवस्थिताः।

भीष्ममेवाभिरक्षन्तु भवन्तः सर्व एव हि॥”

इस छंद में, दुर्योधन अपने सैनिकों को निर्देश दे रहे हैं। उन्होंने कहा है कि वे सुनिश्चित करें कि वे भीष्म को संरक्षित रखें, जो उनकी सेना के महान वीर और नेता हैं, जितनी भी कीमत पर। उन्होंने इस बात को जोर दिया है कि हर सैनिक युद्ध के रूप में उनके निर्धारित स्थान पर खड़ा होकर भीष्म का समर्थन करे और उसकी रक्षा करे। यह छंद भीष्म को समर्थन और सम्मान की भावना को उजागर करता है, जो उनकी सेना में महत्वपूर्ण व्यक्ति मानी जाती है। दुर्योधन चाहते हैं कि भीष्म को सुरक्षित रखा जाए ताकि उनकी सेना आगामी युद्ध में मजबूत और आत्मविश्वासी रहे।

“Therefore, all of you must give full support to Grandfather Bhishma, as you stand in your respective positions in the ranks.”
